CREAMY TOMATO & BASIL SOUP • 4-6 Roma tomatoes (reduce lengthwise) • 2 tbsp butter…


• 4-6 Roma tomatoes (cut back lengthwise)
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 yellow onion (diced)
• 4 garlic cloves (minced)
• 1 tbsp modern thyme
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2tsp flooring black pepper
• 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
• 1 cup basil
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 2 cups rooster stock
• 2/Three cup heavy cream


1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Unfold tomato halves on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, after which sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

3. Roast tomatoes for 1 hour. Take away from oven and put apart. 

4. Heat 2 Tbsp butter, in an enormous pot (or Dutch oven) over medium-high heat.

5. Add onion, and cook dinner dinner for about 5 minutes.

6. Stir throughout the garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook dinner dinner for an extra minute.

7. Add crushed tomatoes, basil, and sugar to the pot.
