Creamy Gnocchi soup with rosemary bacon


• 4 slices thick reduce bacon, chopped

• 2 Tbsp olive oil
• 1 yellow onion (chopped)
• 6 carrots (chopped)
• 4 celery stalks (chopped)
• 2-4 cloves garlic (minced)
• 2 Tbsp current thyme
• 1 tsp Current Basil or 1Tbsp Dried basil
• Pinch of crushed crimson pepper flakes
• Salt & pepper
• 2Tbsp salted butter
• 2 Tbsp flour
• 4-6 cups Vegetable Broth
• 4-6 cups roughly chopped kale
• 1 half cups heavy cream or total milk
• 1 pound potato gnocchi
